We are looking to recruit a « Managing Director», on behalf of one of our firms, located in the governorate of Bizerte.

Mission / General Tasks and duties:

You will report to the Group CEO, overall responsible operational management, and strategic leadership of the company.

Your main tasks are as follows:

  • Ensuring the operational integrity and sustainability of the company
  • Oversee for all matters related to government agencies, customs, and regulations.
  • Work with our Internal Customs Expert (Transitaire) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage the company's bank accounts, financial transactions, and payroll.
  • Oversee payments and expenditures, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Cooperate with colleagues, employees, and other stakeholders in such a way as to ensure a flawless flow of information.
  • Execute all tasks within the competency of this position in a correct, timely and economic manor.
  • Provide leadership and creativity to the Management Team and all employees and following the global company leadership principles.
  • Being the main communication and information interface between the HQ and the company, to synchronize activities best possible.
  • Lead the hiring process, including recruitment of new employees.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Drive organizational improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Streamline processes for increased efficiency and productivity.

  • Represent the company in virtual and face-to-face meetings with customers.
  • Collaborate with other companies within our group to foster synergy and growth.

Qualification requirements:

Technical skills:

  • Strong background in economics, with preferred experience in the textile industry
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • 3 years of comparable experience or 5 years of 2nd-liner experience and similar leadership duties/responsibilities.
  • Advanced usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
