Main Mission
Support footwear production activities by ensuring product quality, monitoring technical processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Location
Tunisia (primary location) with occasional travel to other European production plants for training and schooling purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality by conducting regular inspections throughout the upper manufacturing process, including warehouse, cutting, and stitching department.
- Evaluate leather, textiles, adhesives, and other materials to ensure compliance with quality and production standards.
- Monitor critical manufacturing processes such as bonding, welding, riveting, toe shaping, and heel counter application.
- Analyze material consumption, production performance, and manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities and support process optimization.
- Investigate production, material, and product-related issues and coordinate corrective actions when required.
- Support the introduction of new footwear models from pre-production trials through to full-scale production.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct technical trials, testing activities, and production validations.
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Product Development, and international manufacturing teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Profile
- Several years of experience in footwear manufacturing as a Shoe Technician, Master Shoemaker, or in a similar technical role.
- Practical experience in footwear production; formal certification is welcome but not required.
- Strong understanding of footwear materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong quality awareness and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with production teams and cross-functional departments.
- Ability to read, understand, and work with technical documentation and production specifications.
- Self-motivated team player with a hands-on mentality.
- Proficiency in Arabic and/or French, plus at least one of the following languages: English, German, or Serbian/Croatian
