Managing Director (m/f/d)

Principal Responsibilities:

• Leadership and continuous development of the high-performing management team and all 900 employees.
•  Commercial responsibility (balance sheets, taxes, financial indicators, budgeting, and cost control) and reporting to the parent company in Germany.
• Operational management of the site (production, quality, and logistics) in accordance with group guidelines.
• Ensuring efficient operational processes.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Strategic development of the site.
• Active participation in inter-company organizations such as the AHK (German Chamber of Commerce).
• Strong cooperation and alignment with the German headquarters.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Qualified degree either as an engineer with a strong understanding of business administration or as a business economist with a strong technical understanding.
• Proven leadership experience with a strong managerial background in leading large teams and complex processes in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in plant management
• Excellent communication and team-building skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams
• Ability to collaborate closely with the German parent company in a structure where strategic direction and guideline authority reside in Germany
• Strong cultural understanding of both Tunisia and Germany
• Very good German language skills are a necessary
