Objectives of the position:
The Technical Assistant provides operational and analytical support to the Engineering Team. The role focuses on preparing and maintaining technical documentation, performing calculations, and creating reports that enable accurate decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculations and Analysis
- Assist with technical calculations required for engineering processes.
- Validate and organize data for reporting purposes.
- Documentation Support
- Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation according to internal standards and customer needs.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in engineering documents and records.
- Reporting and Visualization
- Consolidate data from multiple sources into clear, actionable reports.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights for the PE team.
- Collaboration and Service Orientation
- Act as a point of support for VP LHS Operations, ECC Manager and Functional Leads ensuring timely and accurate assistance.
- Maintain a proactive and service-minded approach to internal stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation and reporting processes.
- Stay open to learning and developing new skills relevant to the role.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable qualification or other technical education.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and familiarity with OEM machinery and equipment manufacturers.
- Solution-oriented mindset and focus on the implementation of tasks. Experience and knowledge from Automotive industry is an advantage.
- Fluent English skills (C1 or higher) with technical background
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from similar positions.
- Experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
- Proficiency in Power BI (report creation, dashboard design, data modeling).
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with2D CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, etc.)
- Experience in reading and understanding technical documentation and drawings.
